BILL O’NEILL TELLS ABOUT A2D2

Hi, I’m Bill O’Neill.  I am the founder, owner, and chief designer for this company. The company is known as A2D2, Inc. and those initials stand for Ann Arbor Digital Devices, 2 A’s and 2D’s.  I started the company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, hence Ann Arbor, and I’ve worked on digital medical systems most of my adult life, hence, digital devices.  A2D2, Inc had our 510k approved by the FDA on July1, 2005 for human use.  Before that, numerous vet systems were installed throughout the country.

I want everyone to realize that this product line was developed by me without money from local government, State government, Federal government or private industry.  I did it myself with my own money.  This project was entirely funded by Billy bucks.  I would like you to consider this when making a purchase decision.

The software that comes with every system is 100% owned by A2D2, Inc. and is very user friendly.  It is always being improved and upgraded by our programmers who are under contract with us.  We own the source code.  The hardware is also unique to us and is mostly my design.  We own the hardware design.  The hardware is CCD based DR and delivers images onto the computer display screen in approximately 10 seconds. 

Ours is a retrofit design that is free of interconnection to the X-ray generator.  To install, simply remove the Bucky and mount the A2D2 imaging module in its place.  It usually takes about 2 hours to install and presto, digital images are streaming through the system.
